|
|
| okay so I went through and created a conversive character, but when I created him it wouldn't allow me to change the voice off of Anna. I didn't think anything of it cause I figured I'd just change it in the option in verbot 5 player. Problem is when I went into verbot 5 player the only voice option there is Anna as well. Before I had a bunch of different options. Tried with all the conversive characters and same thing. even tried unistalling and reinstalling. What happened and how do I fix it? |

| It should depend on what sapi 5 voices you have installed, if you go to the speech options in the control panel you'll see in the dropdown which voices are available, these should be the same that you see in the Verbot and the Conversive Character Studio. |

I have a similar problem and its carried over from Verbot4 to Verbot5.
In the MSAgent section in the player options section I have a list of voices to choose from, but if I swop over to Conversive Characters, I'm only left with Microsoft Sam (who doesn't appear in the MSagents list!).
Any suggestions? |

All I have for Conversive Character voices (SAPI 5) on windows 7 is Microsoft Anna, this is all that comes installed by default on Windows 7 (for XP is was just Sam I think).
To add more voices you just need to download more SAPI 5 voices, I would check out Cepstral's offerings, they are pretty reasonably priced. You may even be able to find some free voice engines ones out there with a little google searching. |
