personal brain java program ?

Postby tylergoing's » Fri Jun 17, 2011 4:01 pm

I want to try and take the personal brain program and my verbot 5.And figure out how to make it work that the verbot can use the personal brain as just that it's brain i know that they can learn and be tought.
I want to figure out how to get the 2 programs to work together so i can set her loose on the web and she how she learns watch her learn she what she does.
i know she can be set to call java apps from the internet.but i am having trouble even figuring out how to get the 2 programs to interface.
any ideals would be so very much appreciated.
thank you.

Not knowing what the "personal brain" is, I can't really say at present.
Can you supply more detail about it and how it interacts with other programs/people?
That way ideas might be more forthcoming and not just from myself.

It seems like you want to attach a web backend on your desktop Verbot frontend..

You would at least need to host your own database..

Does the current desktop Verbot even interact with MySQL?

So, what you seem to be describing would be actually a multi-agent system..

I think that would be a nice turnkey product for someone to build, a plug and play web backend for the desktop Verbot..

Probably, http://guile3d.com Denise would come closer to this already preconfigured..

ok let's see first off.
the personal brain is a brain program it allows you to store thoughts ideal what ever in the form of interconnected links much the same way as our brains do.
this is the link to there web site.
http://www.thebrain.com/products/personalbrain/

it's a very interesting bit of software.

in a simple form yes i guess thats sorta what i want to do but i want the verbot to learn from what it finds and then use that to do more searches it's self.and to continue to do this and store the information in the brain program in a way that it can freely access it.
i know what i want it to do im just not sure if i can.

i honestly have no ideal i beleave one of the knowledge base files does infact do that.
I'm new to working with the verbot's.

um not unless im misunderstanding you completly.becouse to agent's trying to interact with one outside program and database would be a mess?

I agree absolutly.

what i am really after is a way to make the verbot use this program as her brain using knowledge base's that allow her to learn.
and letting her go on the web.
so she can search what she want's to and learn what ever strikes her fancy. and really learn from it and see where it go's
i am hoping to have this let her actually learn and for her personality to grow from it.
i know that curiosity is hard to program and all that but im hoping if we can find a way to get this part to work i can figure out where to go from there.and be a little bit closer to a fully learning curious verbot one that'll go out and look for information that it want's.a big dream sure but im hoping one were getting closer to.
beside's she need's some thing to do while im at work right :)
