how do i remove the other angents they dont work

all my verbot does is always says , default when ever I type anything but when I type why, it replies that is a good question, or I don't know the answer. I am pretty frustrated at the moment because I spent hours on this chatbot just trying to get it to work on the most basic level, that is talking, I down loaded two different knowledge bases, and when I run or open my Verbot 5 application before it comes up there is a error message and like 10 or 15 lines of text reading all kinds of stuff and the first one says xml error or something, do I have to install another .NET app. or sdk, or something?

can someone help me get started, and get this Verbot running properly?

with the auto read and enable voice checked,
i can talk to it just fine,
when i mute the mic and let it sit for a bit...
it starts throwing up words at random and verbot gets confused at these words of course,
usually it is just the words: it, the, and, ect

any help here would be great
