I was browsing the Cyberbuddy Custom Agent website and found something very interesting. It seems Bob Norris' partner has put together a "CyberBuddy Agent Creator", a program which let's you upload any image from your PC and animate it. Version one seems to only animate the mouth however Version 2 does the eyes as well. Seems to be a must have for anyone looking to create their own .ACS files.

That seems pretty neat, I'd like to hear if anyone tries it out. Would be pretty cool to create an agent of yourself. I wonder how good it works.

A friend of mine is doing some final touch ups on an image I came up with that I plan on converting into an Agent. As soon as we come with a final design I'll will most definitely try this agent creator out.

I just tried out the program...

The functionality is pretty neat. It has a library of built in "emotions" inwhich you can attach sound effects to. After pressing build, the program will automatically create an .acs for you.

The downside is that it's very limited graphically. If you're looking to create a very realistic Agent, save your money however if you're looking to play around, it's a fun program. A bit pricey though at $40, no more than a $25 program tops.

I just ran accross another program called People Putty which supposedly allows you to truely customize a graphic to display and animate emotion. Seems like a much better options than the CyberBuddy Agent Creator however it does cost a hefty $54.
