A TRIBUTE TO MICHAEL JACKSON

Postby POWERPLAY07 » Wed Jul 08, 2009 10:48 am

Hi guys and gals How are you ?

I watched a tribute to Michael Jackson on TV, It was interesting, but the usual Hollywood Style to generate money.
I liked his music, and liked him, I thought he was very clever at staying in the public eye, and generating money.

Also his music was good, and I liked his dancing.I think though the media always portrayed him as being an adult with the mind of a child.
Judging by the media and the way he acted, I would say they were probably right.

But he seemed as if he understood right and wrong well enough, so that he didn't go too far.
However having said that, those court cases that came up, or almost did, would make anyone wonder,if he wasn't exceptionally lucky, or rich enough to pay away his mistakes.

But despite that, I prefer to think that he didn't go to far and wreck any young persons life, that perhaps because of the media, he was prevented from pushing his luck to far.

As a man he was probably sadly lacking in commonsense, or maturity.
For him to have gone so suddenly, might have been for the best, before he got old and made any serious mistakes.
As a singer he had talent, and I think lived a full singing career, and a good one.

The media judged him, and also kept him wealthy, but now he is in front of someone much more important, and forgiving.

So Good Luck Michael, I hope you get what you deserve, what ever that may be !

The bottom line really is rich or poor, young or old, one day we will all go to the happy hunting grounds.

Even if we build an empire, or a model plane, as long as we enjoyed life, to the best of our abilities, and didn't cause unneccessary harm to others, for pleasure, then essentially our life would have been worth it.

So I wonder does that mean most of the media would go to hell ? , or have they actually done a lot of good ? :? :)

My last post for a while, I will be a bit too busy.

Seeya :) :o

Hi everyone,

I saw the segment on Hey hey its saturday, which was a Michael Jackson send up, it wasn't bad, but a little out dated.

As far as it being racial, in Australia we are a little more relaxed in relation to comedy, to us comedy is comedy, also he wasn't our king of pop, or idol, he was just another singer with a lot of money.

Comedy doesn't really have to be politically correct, thank god, personally I would laugh at comedy if it portrayed my brother, a red indian, a black white yellow, or half caste person, I was brought up to be fair minded, I would pray to god if his name was obama, tom, or if he was a woman, man, black white yellow or green, oh or red.

I think hollywood takes itself too seriously, and thats what usually causes wars, or keeps them going.

You usually find countries that had a bad policy against people or discriminated against them for too long, have a tendency to try to teach everyone how to suck eggs, like a reformed......., knows what is best for everyone.

Well thats my opinion, and it doesn't have to be yours. 8)
